‘Gnomes’ – Sony Horror Movie Will Unleash a Killer Gnome Tribe

Casting continues for They Listen, an upcoming horror moving from Sony, Blumhouse and Depth of Field. THR reports today that actress Riki Lindhome has joined the cast.

Lindhome joins previously announced stars John Cho (Searching) and Katherine Waterston (Alien: Covenant), as well as Lukita Maxwell (“Shrinking”), announced yesterday in a “top-billed role.”

Chris Weitz (American Pie) directs the film, set for theatrical release on August 25, 2023.

Plot and character details remain tightly under wraps at this time, so stay tuned.

Lindhome recently appeared on Netflix’s “Wednesday” as Dr. Valerie Kinbott, the therapist to Jenna Ortega’s Wednesday Addams and students of the Nevermore Academy. The actress also recently stole scenes in werewolf whodunnit The Wolf of Snow Hollow and 2009’s The Last House on the Left.

An Oscar nominee for writing 2002’s About a Boy, Chris Weitz’s directorial credits include Down to Earth, About a Boy, The Golden Compass, and Twilight: New Moon.
