A24 has debuted the first trailer for Parthenope, the upcoming coming-of-age drama from Paolo Sorrentino. In the trailer we get to see the story of Parthenope, a woman born in the sea of Naples in 1950, and her adventures across the summers of her youth. Parthenope is set to release in theaters sometime in the winter of 2025.
“Parthenope, born in the sea of Naples in 1950, searches for happiness over the long summers of her youth, falling in love with her home city and its many memorable characters,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “From Academy Award-winning filmmaker Paolo Sorrentino comes a monumental and deeply romantic story of a lifetime.”
