Amy Adams Joins Apple’s ‘Cape Fear’ From Executive Producers Steven Spielberg and Martin Scorsese

Apple’s upcoming Cape Fear series has acquired Amy Adams in a starring role alongside Javier Bardem. Adams will play the role of Anna in the upcoming series, a character who is harassed by killer Max Cady (Bardem). Other casting information isn’t known as of yet, but Steven Spielberg and Martin Scorsese are both attached to the series as executive producers.

“In the 10-episode series, described as a tense, Hitchcockian thriller and an examination of America’s obsession with true crime in the 21st century, a storm is coming for happily married attorneys Amanda and Steve Bowden when Max Cady, a notorious killer from their past, gets out of prison,” the synopsis reads.
