Along With the Feature Film, a “Dungeons & Dragons” TV Series is Also in the Works!

A new movie adaptation of the popular tabletop roleplaying game Dungeons & Dragons is finally happening, with Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, co-directors of the comedy Game Night and writers of Spider-Man: Homecoming, on board to direct. But that’s not the only D&D project in the works, as THR reports that a series is also being developed.

Like the film, the “Dungeons & Dragons” series is being developed by Hasbro and eOne, and THR reports that John Wick franchise writer Derek Kolstad is on board!

Chris Pine, meanwhile, is attached to star in the feature film.

Designed by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson, Dungeons & Dragons was first published in 1974.

Between 2000 and 2012, three Dungeons & Dragons films were released.
