If you’ve been keeping up with the modding scene for Fallout: New Vegas, you probably know about The Frontier, a huge mod that sets the player in the snowy wastes of Portland, Oregon. If you haven’t, then you’ll be pleased to know that it’s available today!
Currently available on Nexus Mods (with a Steam release in the works), The Frontier casts you as The Courier once again, though this time you start a new adventure centred around a conflict between the NCR and the Legion in the aforementioned post-Nuclear Oregon.
The mod features 3 major questlines, 60+ side quests, hundreds of new armours, weapons and items, new gameplay mechanics such as high quality drivable vehicles, and “tens of thousands of lines of new voiced dialogue”. In order to play the mod, you’ll need all four main New Vegas DLC. But seeing as it’s New Vegas, you probably already do.
