Chris Stapleton and his wife Morgane are the real deal, and their authenticity shines onstage. There’s an easy comfort between the two — a nod to their years together and respect for one another.
Fittingly, the couple’s first date was a songwriting session in 2003; four years later, they tied the knot. In 2018, they doubled their number of children – twins, born in the spring, made the Stapletons a family of six — and then, they welcomed a fifth child in 2019.
For some, that may be completely overwhelming, but it seems that when Chris and Morgane Stapleton are paired up, they can do anything: win Grammy Awards, perform at some of music’s biggest award shows and turn a simple song such as “You Are My Sunshine” into works of art.
