Cloud Nothings have shared the latest single from their upcoming album, The Shadow I Remember, called ‘Nothing Without You’. The track features Macie Stewart of OHMME on vocals and comes with its very own psychedelic video game. You can play the game here, and listen to the song below.
““Nothing Without You” explores both the negative and positive aspects of dependency, whether it be on a person, a place, an object, or nothing at all,” Dylan Baldi explained in a statement. “Jesse Jacobs and Vagabond Dog took that concept and filtered it through the ultimate needy creature, the Tamagotchi.”
The Shadow I Remember, the follow-up to Cloud Nothings’ 2020 quarantine album The Black Holds Understands, is out February 26 via Carpark. Previously, the band shared the singles ‘Am I Something’ and ‘The Spirit Of’.
